The finished cheesecake!

After spending yesterday evening on preparing the base and the so called 'cheese' to the cake, I left it to set overnight. Now only a couple of hours to go and I have topped it off with strawberry slices and strawberry compote:
Here it is ... Good enough to eat dont you think??

I am so happy for Beyonce Knowles, she will make such a beautiful mum with her husband Jay-Z. She was at the London Fashion Week to promote the new line from House of Dereon. Looking fabulous alongside her mother, just after celebrating her thirtieth birthday with an A-list guest list.

She announced being pregnant when she attended the VMA's in gorgeous orange :

Cheesecake mmm...

I'm going out for dinner tomorrow and I am really desperately looking for a delicious and slightly different cheesecake recipe. Now I'm a big fan of Delia Smith, so I use her online website a lot for references whilst cooking. However, most of the recipes that are now on there are not her own and are just peoples adaptations.

It's also nearly my birthday so I have asked for the complete Delia cookbook.

Whilst typing in Cheesecake recipes straight into google, I came up with bbcgoodfood.com which I havent tried before as well as cheesecake-recipe.net; out of these the cheesecake recipe website came out as my favourite because of some of the most delicious looking cheesecakes that were on there here are a few:

StylistPick

Yesterday, whilst catching up with the latest celebrity gossip, I found a website called Stylist<3pick. Cheryl Cole is the latest to have collaborated with the personal styling website for a new shoe collection. She tweeted this picture at the night of the launch : (looking gorgeous in red with a huge beehive)

I got myself styled and waited around two hours for my own personal collection that I can purchase from and it delivered with me with some fantastic choices; I absolutely loved all of them. Especially this bag 'Wilhemina' which I'm thinking of buying for only £29.95:

I am so excited, as of this morning I have found out that I have been selected by Ciate to receive two of their little paint pots to try out.

Fingers crossed that it will be the any of these from their new collections, if not I'm in the mood for some pop and neon colours.

Disney and the lolly making

When I went to Disney in 2009, I got engaged !! But, we were there when all of the Christmas markets had been set up just outside of the main entrances. We discovered some fantastic things including how lolly pops can be made :

They look delicious, plus whilst serving customers, they let the sticky goo, drip down until it nearly touched the surface, then they would throw it back over the hooks again.

When I went to Bulgaria in summer '08, I never expected to find such amazing ice cream. Unfortunately I cant find any photos that I took when I was there but I did find one example on the web of this fantastic ice-cream.

When you buy this ice-cream it doesnt come by the scoop either, its all done on weight which mean you get a heck of a lot more for your money, unless of course you pick the ones with the heavy frozen fruit!! Stracciatella was my favourite followed by their version of cookies and cream which was huge chunks of oreo  in a smooth vanilla ice cream.

Nail Varnish - Haul

After biting my nails for nearly 15 years, exactly one month ago, I stopped !! whoo
Reading on many different blogs that have inspired me to create my own, I went out and bought three gorgeous Barry M nail polishes.

1. Barry M 317 Blue Moon - which I have found to be a little watery so needs one or two coats more
2. Barry M 308 Berry IceCream - which I absolutely love and it comes out so well for such a bright but easy everyday colour.
3. Barry M 318 Peach Melba - it looks delicious on my nails!
